Hello

I offer a variety of healing modalities to address each client’s unique needs, taking a holistic approach that integrates the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of well-being. My work blends energy healing, herbs, nutrition, health coaching, meditation, and movement as medicine.

After practicing as a nurse in the Western medical system, I realized that conventional medicine didn’t align with my heart. I frequently witnessed patients struggling with recurring issues and knew there were other, more holistic approaches to help. This inspired me to pursue further education in complementary medicine. I deepened my training as an Herbalist, Reiki Practitioner, and became a Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

As a Clinical Herbalist, I am passionate about sharing the wisdom of plants through herbal consultations. My recent training with Debbie Mercier of Greenwood Herbals and Rosemary Gladstar has deepened my practice, and my experience at The Herbal Path, an herbal pharmacy, helped me refine my skills. I focus on restoring balance to the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of clients by using the physical and energetic properties of plants.

I also incorporate energy work into my healing sessions. I began practicing Unicorn Light Healing in 2008, a heart-centered modality, and became Reiki certified in 2014. My sessions are customized to meet each client’s needs, using energy clearing, grounding, and boosting techniques to support the healing process. I am also a “Fire Bather,” using fire to cleanse and energize the body’s energetic centers.

As a Yoga and Dance instructor, I’ve taught students of all ages, from 1 to 70 years old. I’m certified in Yoga Nidra and Yoga Support for addiction recovery. I also teach fusion belly dance and perform across New England, helping people reconnect with their bodies and find power in reclaiming the body through movement.

My Story

Since a little girl, movement, plant healing, and holistic health have been my passions. I pursued studies in holistic health, energy healing, and herbalism while being "obsessed" with dance, yoga, and exercise early in my studies. I was training in dance and yoga just about every day when right before entering nursing school I had an injury that affected my gastrointestinal, pelvic, and musculoskeletal systems. I had to give up most movement (which was my main coping skill)  and life went dark. I learned what it was like to have chronic pain and because I didn’t fit into a “box” in the Western Medical System, I was left to my own. It was a lonely road but I learned a lot. I learned how to navigate the medical system, continue with life while not feeling well, and learned just because someone doesn’t look like they are in pain, doesn’t mean they aren’t. As years went on, without much progress or understanding, I was forced to find the light in the darkness which caused me to grow. My light became working with plants and supporting others through their most challenging times.

I empathize with every person I come in contact with who is going through a health struggle whether that be hitting the snooze button too many times in the morning to someone that has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, because every aspect of our lives, no matter how big or small, can play a pivotal role in our well being. I found that much is missing from our current medical system, both as a patient and when I was a nurse, and I hope to fill in these gaps. I hope to empower people to find their path to healing and will meet them in their dark and help guide them to their light of  health and wellness.
